Letterboxing!

My sister-in-law, Sally and her family have just started a new hobby that sounded like a great time, especially because it's low cost and involves a bit of treasuring hunting. Basically, you find small, waterproof boxes that are hidden at parks, restuarants, along hiking trails, etc. There are clues to find the "letterboxes" that are posted at various websites.
For more info. check out the following:

There are several items we gathered to begin letterboxing.

1. We had to get a journal, because each hidden box contains a stamp, that you record in your personal journal.

This is also our personal journal that we carry with us, to put the hidden stamps on, it's our proof that we found the letterbox.

2. We also had to make a rubber stamp that represents our family. Then we place our stamp into the hidden letterbox journal. -- So we in nutshell we exchange stamps!

I stayed up waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy to late last night making this rubber stamp. It's a four-leaf clover, since there are four of us and our names are all on it!

Aiden, Cora and I went to Boulder today to pick up a double stroller we purchased on Craigslist and so we also went looking for our first stamp and found it! He's called the "Spud Trooper Mini Me". It's apparantly a faux-pas to show the stamp online without permission -- so you'll have to go out and find it to see it!
